Bishop Jeffery is a native of Bainbridge, Georgia. Over the past 40 years, Bishop Jeffery has served in ministry many capacities. From his early days of teaching primary classes in YPWW, to the establishing of new Sunday School Departments in local churches. Other areas include youth ministries, establishing training curricular for the various aspects of leadership and ministry.
Bishop Jeffery’s love for the “Word of God “has continued through educational institutes such as The Nazarene Bible College, Florida Bible College. In December 2012, he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Relations from Point University, WestPoint, Georgia, formerly known as Atlanta Christian College, and his Master of Religious Leadership from Emory- Candler School of Theology in 2020.
His ministerial progression includes serving as National Evangelist, District Secretary, “Chief Operations Officer”, First Assistant to the Presiding Bishop, Episcopal Region Bishop, and General Secretary.
Through Bishop Jeffery’s leadership, he has established great pivotal works of God such as “Evangelistic Crusades, Inc. a Tent Crusade 0utreach Ministry, “The Emmanuel Ministries of Wholeness, Inc. where he served as senior pastor and 2015 established the organization Greater Horizon Christian Fellowship of Churches and Ministries, Inc.
In 2012, Bishop Jeffery was installed to the office of Overseer to brethren everywhere, and on March 22, 2014, he was Episcopal Consecrated into the sacred office as “Bishop” in the Lord’s Church, with Apostolic Succession through the Joint College of African American Pentecostal Bishops, under the leadership of Bishop Michael D. Wilson, the Presiding Prelate of Judah Fellowship of Churches International. In June of 2017 Bishop Jeffery was Enthroned as the Presiding Prelate of Greater Horizon Christian Fellowship of Churches and Ministries, Inc. Through the laying of hands by Presiding Prelate Bishop James T. Jackson he received the Apostolic Succession from lineage established by the anointing of the Apostle Peter.
In February 2015 Apostle Jeffery received “The Coweta County 2014 Citizen of the Year Award,” from the “Fayetteville- Coweta Chapter of Theta Lambda Lambda Omega Psi Phi Fraternity's.
Today, Bishop Jeffery and his wife Evangelist/ First Lady Mother Gloria J. Jeffery work harmoniously together in the ministry of the Lord and the community as Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA)for children who are in foster care. Bishop and Mother Jeffery have two wonderful sons, Bryan, and Joseph in whom they love and enjoy.
